These Terms of Service apply to your use of the Australian Bed Slats website and to purchases made through our online store.

By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy and Returns, Refunds and Consumer Guarantees Policy.

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

ABOUT OUR STORE

Australian Bed Slats supplies replacement bed slats, bed supports, adjustable legs, accessories and related products.

References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean Australian Bed Slats. References to “you” and “your” mean a visitor to the website or a customer placing an order.

MEASURING AND PRODUCT SELECTION

Bed slats are available in different lengths, widths, thicknesses, shapes and levels of curvature.

You are responsible for checking the measurements and compatibility required for your bed frame. Please measure the existing slat rather than relying only on the mattress or bed-frame size.

For curved slats, check both the length and width, including whether the slat is 53mm or 63mm wide.

Our measuring guides and general recommendations are provided to help with product selection. They do not replace the customer’s responsibility to verify the required measurements and suitability before ordering.

If you are unsure, contact us before ordering. Ordering an incorrect size or product is generally treated as a change-of-mind return unless the product supplied differs from what was ordered.

ORDERS

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the products shown in the cart.

After an order is placed, we will send an order confirmation. We may contact you if information needs to be verified or corrected.

Before dispatch, we may cancel or decline an order when reasonably necessary because:

• A product is unavailable.
• A material pricing or product-description error has occurred.
• Payment has not been authorised.
• We reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.
• We cannot deliver to the supplied address.

If we cancel a paid order, we will provide a refund to the original payment method unless another lawful arrangement is agreed with you.

We will not substitute a materially different product without the customer’s agreement.

PRICES AND PAYMENT

Prices are displayed in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise.

Delivery charges are calculated separately and displayed at checkout or included in a written quote. Long, bulky, custom, trade or wholesale orders may require an individual freight quote.

Payment must be made using a payment method available at checkout or another method agreed in writing.

You confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method and that the payment information supplied is accurate.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

Product availability and inventory can change without notice.

If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we will contact you and offer an appropriate option, which may include waiting for stock, selecting an alternative with your agreement or receiving a refund for the unavailable product.

CUSTOM, CUT AND SPECIAL-ORDER PRODUCTS

Products cut, altered, manufactured or specially ordered to a customer’s requested measurements may require additional preparation time.

Once production or preparation has started, these products generally cannot be cancelled or returned for change of mind or incorrect customer-supplied measurements.

This does not limit any rights relating to faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or misdescribed products under the Australian Consumer Law.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Delivery charges, processing timeframes, tracking, bulky freight and delivery conditions are explained in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Delays may occur because of carrier disruptions, weather, regional delivery conditions or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

RETURNS, REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

Returns, exchanges, refunds, faulty products and order cancellations are handled in accordance with our Returns, Refunds and Consumer Guarantees Policy and the Australian Consumer Law.

Please contact us before returning any product so we can provide the correct return instructions.

INSTALLATION AND SAFE USE

Before installation, inspect the product and confirm that its dimensions and design are suitable for the intended bed frame.

Products must be installed and used for their intended purpose. Do not install a product that appears damaged, cracked or unsuitable.

Follow any instructions supplied with the product and ensure the bed frame provides appropriate support. If you are uncertain about installation, compatibility or structural safety, seek assistance from a suitably experienced person before use.

Nothing in this section limits our responsibility for goods that fail to meet a consumer guarantee.

TRADE AND WHOLESALE ORDERS

Trade, wholesale, bulk and custom orders may be subject to a written quote containing specific pricing, payment, freight, lead-time and order conditions.

A written quote applies in addition to these terms. If a quote clearly states that a particular term overrides part of these general terms, the quoted term will apply to that order to the extent permitted by law.

A quoted price remains valid for the period stated in the quote.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The website’s text, graphics, illustrations, photographs, branding, layout and other original content are owned by or licensed to Australian Bed Slats unless stated otherwise.
